**About the Team**:

From managing the upkeep of our stadium and training grounds to overseeing logistics for game days, we are committed to excellence in every detail.

**The Opportunity**:
As the Facilities and Maintenance Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of facilities at the Academy of Light. In this position, you’ll focus on coordinating facility activities at the Academy, collaborating closely with cleaners, engineers, and groundstaff to maintain a high standard of quality and service.

You’ll work hand-in-hand with Academy Leads to understand their needs and priorities. This will involve regular communication to assess facility requirements, scheduling maintenance tasks based on their feedback, and ensuring that all operations align with the Academy’s objectives.

You’ll oversee daily operations, ensuring that service delivery is efficient and responsive to the needs of the Academy. Your role will require you to coordinate various teams, facilitate communication among staff, and ensure that all activities are executed smoothly and on time. By prioritizing service excellence and fostering a collaborative environment, you’ll contribute significantly to the overall success of our facilities.

**What We Ask For**:
Experience in coordinating facilities and maintenance operations, especially within sporting venues or large facilities, is highly desirable. You will need excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with Academy Leads, facilities employees, external contractors, and other stakeholders, ensuring that everyone is aligned and working towards common goals.

A commitment to delivering outstanding service is crucial, as you will engage with various departments to create a safe and welcoming atmosphere for all. Flexibility is key as you may need to manage your schedule around the players and training requirements to ensure that all activities run smoothly. Furthermore, this role may require you to be present on matchdays and during major events as required.

You should be self-motivated and capable of working independently while also thriving as part of a cohesive team, managing multiple tasks effectively under pressure.

An Enhanced DBS from Sunderland AFC is required.
