As a **Reception Coordinator**, you’ll be the first friendly face visitors meet at our Guide Dogs site, ensuring a warm, professional welcome while keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes. From managing deliveries and greeting visitors to coordinating meeting rooms and supporting volunteers, you'll play a key role in maintaining an organised and welcoming environment.
You’ll also be responsible for managing visitor records, assisting with diary bookings, and ensuring our reception service operates efficiently. A big part of your role will be working alongside and supporting our fantastic volunteers, ensuring they have the training and resources they need to help keep things running seamlessly.
No two days will be the same, and your ability to multi-task, stay organised, and bring a positive, can-do attitude will be essential. This role also includes supporting with administrative tasks such as processing mail, ordering office supplies, and assisting with site safety procedures, including fire alarm testing and security notifications.

Ideally, you’ll have experience supporting volunteers and working in an environment where service levels and efficiency are key. Most importantly, you’ll be a warm, welcoming presence with a flexible and proactive approach, always ready to go the extra mile to keep our reception running smoothly.

This role will be based on site at our Forfar office, working closely with a team of guide dog trainers. You’ll be working 21 hours per week covering Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
