We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and reliable **Food and Beverage Supervisor** to join the team at Rowton Hall Hotel and Spa to assist in the running the department, and to cover duty management at times.

The full-time role requires flexible working, including weekends. Excellent personal presentation is also essential.

With good forward planning skills and a proactive approach, you’ll help to supervise the hotel’s food and beverage service and support the Food and Beverage Manager in every aspect of the day-to-day running of the department to include Conference and Banqueting, the Restaurant and Bars.

Using your knowledge and your passion for service, you’ll help to create a first-class environment for both guests and team members.

You’ll also train and develop staff so that they provide exceptional customer service at all times, and you’ll be expected to contribute to sales initiatives.

**Main Duties**

Hands-on role within the food and beverage department and being ready to assist other departments if needed to ensure the overall hotel vision is achieved.

Work with the Food & Beverage Manager to develop and agree the standards of service required across the departments.

Ensure that the agreed standards of service are consistently delivered across the department, and customer expectations are exceeded.

Supervising the food and beverage teams and assisting with training and development, rota planning and scheduling

Create a “can-do” attitude amongst the team and a desire for them to identify customer need and respond proactively to that need.

Ensure the security of the bar and be accountable for stock at all times.

As an Food and Beverage Supervisor you will be required to provide Duty Manager cover

**About you**:

- You will ideally be a ‘hands on’ leader, with ideally Rosette experience gained in a similar role within high quality restaurants or 4 star hotels.
- You will have great wine and seasonal, local food knowledge.
- You will be passionate and professional in your work, organised and be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- You will be committed to delivering high standards.
- You will be a motivated team player with great leadership skills.

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
