Bookkeeper - Part Time

Prestige Building Supplies Ltd is looking for a part time Bookeeper to support the Finance Manager with the purchase ledger and manage internal finance processes.
**Duties**:
- Process purchase invoices, ensuring they match the relevant purchase order
- Liaise with key departments across the business to resolve invoice queries
- Distribute remittances to suppliers upon request
- Statement Reconciliation
- Employee Expenses
- Record Company expenses.
- Ad hoc duties and reporting
- Assist Finance Manager with month end procedures
- Identifying and managing price and quantity queries;
- Reporting through SAGE/Excel
- Assisting with any ad hoc duties and projects within Finance
- To follow Health & Safety processes and procedures and ensure a safe working environment for your own and colleagues H&S.
**Skills & knowledge**:
- Previous experience/ knowledge in finance
- Highly numerate, competent user of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
- Have good numeracy skills
- Ability to work in a methodical
- Hold excellent organisation skills and the ability to prioritise workload accordingly.
- Can ‘do’ and positive attitude
- Willingness to learn
- The ability to effectively work as a team
- Ability to input information data accurately to the system
Hours of work
- 20 hours per week across 3 days (days to be discussed)
**Salary**: £25,000 FTE
**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week
**Salary**: £13,520.00 per hour
