As a Network Technician you’ll undertake a wide range of activities related to the maintenance, modification and repair of Instrumentation and Electrical (E&I) systems across all gas transportation assets throughout the Network. Activities include inspectionand testing of Instrumentation systems on gas pressure reduction sites, supporting operational activities and other non-routine operations associated with fault finding and repair of instrumentation assets. Key accountabilities of our Network Technician will also include: - Asset Health condition of Electrical & Instrumentation equipment & systems in fault reporting - Maintaining instrumentation assets to T/PR/MAINT/11 & 12 - Delivering work in a timely manner to ensure completion within statutory requirement - Participating in Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) standby rota to maintain standards of service - Where appropriate, supervising contractors or third parties to ensure quality of work is delivered in a safe manor - Working within and promote strong team working relationships across all Cadent activities to achieve business objectives and improve performance **What You’ll Bring** We’re looking for individuals who hold the following skills and experience: - Team player with the ability to work alone and unsupervised - Experience in Maintenance, fault finding and the repair of electrical and instrumentation systems - Working knowledge of instrumentation/electrical drawings, technical documents and maintenance procedures including change management for modifications - This role will involve frequent travel and therefore a Full UK Driving Licence is essential for the role - Knowledge of appropriate legislation, policy and procedures, including E&I technical standards and maintenance procedures - Working knowledge of relevant codes of practice, engineering instructions safety and statutory regulation. - Experience of working on Operation Gas Sites - Approved Apprenticeship or evidence in lieu of - Instrumentation and Control or Electrical Qualification - COMPEX EX01, 02, 03 and 04 - TEM 2 and 4 - SCO1 and 2 - EL6 Authorisation RA(I) minimum **Benefits** We offer a host of benefits to suit your lifestyle and support your well-being.
