**Our client is a leading manufacturer of bespoke products, supplying to a range of high-profile industries including nuclear and defence. They are looking for a Sales and Estimating engineer to join their team to assist the After Sales Department andSales and Estimating Department with incoming queries, preparing and issuing quotations and general administrative duties. This position will be office based in Bolton.**
**Sales and Estimating Engineer**
- Acting as a primary point of contact for customer and client enquiries, providing technical advice where possible and compiling requirements to be passed on to the relevant team member
- Compiling and submitting quotations in line with business’ requirements and carrying out price negotiations with clients under agreed parameters and with direction
- Act as part of a team and contribute to other teams’ developments where necessary
- Obtaining and acting on feedback from quotations to maximise the chances of winning the order

**Sales and Estimating Engineer**
**Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications**:

- Good numeracy, literacy, and communication skills
- IT literate with good knowledge of MS office, Word, Excel and other systems
- Good attention to detail, organisation skills and ability to work to tight deadlines

**Sales and Estimating Engineer**
**Desirable Skills/Experience/Qualifications**:

- Previously worked within engineering
- Experience of sales and estimation environment
- Experience of customer interaction
- Commercial awareness
