**About the Role**:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Electoral Services Team to cover maternity leave. We’re looking for a highly motivated, approachable, and enthusiastic team player to join our busy Electoral Services Team as an Electoral Services Officer.
This is a part time role working 30 hours per week on a 12 month fixed term contract.
**About You**:
We are looking for a confident, articulate person who can demonstrate previous experience working in Electoral Registration and Elections. You’ll also have a keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy whilst under pressure and working to defined deadlines.
You will have a sound working knowledge of Word, Excel spreadsheets with experience of using Xpress Register and Xpress Management, or similar Electoral Management system highly desirable. The ability to remain calm and confident when dealing with challenging customers, resolve issues and complaints by negotiation.
A flexible approach and being prepared to work outside of normal office hours, including evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays particularly during the annual canvass and in the run up to elections.
