**Job Purpose**:
The post holder is responsible for: _Working with the Chief Medical Officer, other members of the Executive Team as appropriate, Modern Matrons, Senior Nursing colleagues and fellow RMOs to innovate and improve the quality of the clinical service, patient experience, and clinical outcomes for patients at the Cromwell Hospital. _

**Leadership Duties**:

- The post holder will work with the Chief Medical Officer and will be a key part of her team, along with the other appointed lead RMO and the current Chief RMO.
- The Chief Medical Officer’s Team will together work to improve the quality and safety of care for patients across the Cromwell Hospital, implement innovative ideas, new technologies and ensure that our patients are managed in line with most recent National and International Clinical Guidelines.
- Duties may involve implementing the learning from incidents and complaints, designing clinical pathways, working with other teams within BUPA, contributing to a quality strategy and assisting with processes for collecting PROMS and other clinical outcome measures.
- The post holder will be expected to understand the principles of clinical governance and quality improvement.
- The post holder will be involved in workforce planning and RMO recruitment for all clinical areas. It is envisaged that each post holder will be aligned to two clinical areas in addition to having hospital wide responsibilities.

**What you’ll bring**:

- Full registration with General Medical Council.
- Should be ST3 or equivalent or above
- Evidence of satisfactory / more than satisfactory progress through training, including annual review of competence progression outcomes or appraisal
- A professional, but not robotic manner - your caring nature should extend across patients and colleagues
