Facilities Administrator

A vacancy arisen in the Facilities Department for a full time, and they will report directly into the Facilities Manager and will be responsible for providing support to ensure facilities services are provided in an effective and efficient manner across the business.
**Main duties and responsibilities**:
- Provide support to the Facilities Department and assist in administering processes/H&S/Contractor management/invoices
- Provide administration support to the Facilities Team Leader and Health, Safety & Environmental Manager with internal and external audits
- Support the procurement team as required with purchasing/ordering and departmental administration
- Maintain the property to an acceptable condition utilising the approved external M&E
- Prepare reports from the Helpdesk, monitor trends and provide feedback to customers
- Administration of Facilities systems
- Ensuring that the site is fully operational at all times and all PPM are in place
**Experience, knowledge and skills required**:
- A key aspect of this role will involve dealing with internal and external customers, therefore, a confident telephone manner and excellent communication skills are essential.
- Strong organisational skills.
- As well as working as part of a team, the ability to work alone and being able to prioritise tasks is crucial for the role.
- GCSE Maths and English (grade C or 4/5) minimum is essential.
- The ability to work proactively by solving issues and presenting solutions whilst maintaining and developing new processes.
- A working knowledge of Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and Access) is desirable - full training can be provided.
- Previous experience working in an administrative role is essential.
- IOSH qualification is preferable.
This position has a starting rate of £23,929 per annum and the successful applicant will work a 37.5 hour week.
Hours of work: - Monday to Thursday 7.30 am - 4.30 pm.
Friday 7.30 - 12 Noon.
