Job description - Junior Operations Analyst
In this Operations Analyst Executive job, you will be working within the company's commercial department, with the opportunity to grow and develop within this department, as well as gain Freight Forwarding industry knowledge. Clients depend on this expert teamto manage their experience with exceptional attention to detail. You'll be responsible for managing the operational functions that underpin client experience.
This will include everything from booking logistics services according to client requests, creating and distributing reports, and actioning quotes and invoices. You'll need to be extremely organised and comfortable working with data.

Key responsibilities - Junior Operations Analyst
In this Operations Analyst role, your responsibilities will include:

- Supporting the Commercial desk in all aspects of vessel trading and operations
- Preparing documents and clearances for contracts
- Managing day-to-day operations of vessels, including execution of voyages, stemming bunkers, liaising with clients, brokers, and port agents
- Helping to identify and implement improvements in department processes
- Ensuring accurate and regular information is provided to all parties, both external clients and internal departments
- Compile and distribute daily operations reports
- Various administrative duties, including sending daily updates to clients, documentation, data entry, and clerical assistance
Job requirements - Junior Operations Analyst
- A graduate from university, maths, science and business-related degrees are preferred
- Previous experience or internships in operational or vessel trading is highly beneficial
- An interest in the global logistics and supply chain industry (no industry experience is necessary)
- A highly team-centric person who is motivated by delivering on team and client expectations
- Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Office
- Confident in managing, analysing and interpreting data, with previous experience doing so
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills to keep up with the fast-paced nature of the global trade industry
- A hands-on, process-driven person, with structured thinking and strong problem-solving skills
- Confident communication both written and verbal
