**Role Outline**

The IS Manager is responsible for planning, leading, organizing, and motivating the Data Development Team in EMEA to achieve a high level of performance and quality in delivering exceptional business value to users. The IS Manager is expected to lead andmanage the development, deployment, and support of new and existing capabilities as it relates to the Data Lake, BI and other Cloud Development efforts in region, and other integrated solutions and services to meet the current and future needs of the business.This role is responsible for managing a portfolio of efforts (projects, product backlogs, etc.), using Scaled Agile, in a fast-paced environment that may cross multiple operating companies and support organizations. It is also key in this role to work closelywith the Global Enterprise Application teams on our Enterprise solutions.

**Management Responsibilities**
- Management responsibility for the Development team, including hiring, leadership, development, and accountability for performance.
- Coaches others in their development as a leader and/or a more complex problem solver, and focuses on helping others formulate their development agenda
- Assists in team development while holding teams accountable for their commitments, removing roadblocks to their work; leveraging organizational resources to improve capacity for project work; and mentoring team members
- Promotes empowerment of the team, ensures that each team member is fully engaged in the project and making a meaningful contribution, and encourages a sustainable pace with high levels of quality for the team
- Communicates and engages with highly technical knowledge workers. Able to challenge team thought processes to drive them to better solutions.
- Establishes operational/team objectives and goals

**.Education Experience**
- Advanced degree in, Information Systems, or equivalent
- Experience with Snowflake Data Cloud Platform
- Experience with Cloud based Object Stores
- Experience in the AWS and/or Azure Cloud Platforms
- Good understanding of consuming REST APIs and web services.
- Experience with JavaScript, JSON and Java development skills.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of Information Technology experience
- Experience with Data, Data Management and/or Data Analytics
- Experience overseeing multi-function teams
- Experience working in an offshore/onshore collaborative environment
- Agile (SAFe) experience
- Solid understanding of and demonstrated experience in using appropriate tools: MS Office and VersionOne

**Skills Abilities**
- Experience of working in agile delivery is desirable but not required
- Self-starting and able to drive own workload
- Able to multitask and work on multi projects simultaneously
- Keen willingness to provide support to the wider technical team on other tasks as required to support the business needs and initiatives
- Demonstrate strong team working skills and have good communication skills (both verbal and written) to work with both technical and non-technical audiences
