**The role**

We are currently looking for a People Business Partner for our Ports side of the business. This role will be reporting to the People Director and will be the most senior port HR role within the business. You will be partnering with the senior leadershipteam within the ports to help them achieve their goals and targets through strategic HR advice.

This is a fully rounded People role that will encompass work across talent management, succession planning, capability development, organisational design, workforce planning, employee engagement, performance management, leadership development and creatinga high
- performance culture. You will work alongside the rest of the People team who will be supporting you through expertise in talent acquisition, service delivery, systems management and leaning and development.

This role will require you to be present at our ports across the UK on a regular basis and deal with any local issues that may arise. You will be working with the management team at all of the ports as well as any union representatives as well. This is astrategic role that will require you to provide long term people development and support to allow the business and our people to fully realise their potential.

**This role will be home based with frequent travel to our ports across the UK**

**The person**

So who are we looking for?
- Previous experience of working as a People/ HR Business Partner in a multi
- site environment
- The ability to delegate and take responsibility for their workload to make sure strategic goals are being delivered
- A strong commercial focus with an innate understanding of P&L
- Fantastic verbal and written communications skills
- Confident when dealing with change and ambiguity
- Experience of working with and influencing senior leadership teams.
