**CNC - Centreless Grinder**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate CNC-controlled centreless grinding machines to produce precision parts according to engineering specifications
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions
- Set up and adjust grinding machines, including wheel dressing, work rest blade positioning, and regulating wheel adjustments
- Program and optimise CNC grinding cycles for efficient production
- Perform in-process quality checks using various measuring equipment
- Maintain accurate records of production data, quality control measurements, and machine maintenance
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to grinding processes and machine operation
- Collaborate with engineering and quality control teams to improve processes and product quality
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organised work area
- Train and mentor junior operators as needed

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a CNC Centreless Grinder operator (minimum 3-5 years)
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming and operation for centreless grinding machines
- Expertise in setting up and operating CNC-controlled grinding machines
- Ability to perform accurate in-process checks using various measuring equipment, including:

- Micrometers
- Shadow graphs
- Laser micrometers
- Digital calipers
- Familiarity with grinding wheel selection, dressing, and maintenance
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or relevant certifications are a plus
