We have an opportunity for a Customer Consultant to join our Branch network. This role is an excellent opportunity for a process driven, team player with exceptional customer service skills, attention to detail and communication skills.
You will be the face of the Society and responsible for providing a first class, friendly and knowledgeable service for everyone who walks through our doors or engages through community relationships externally. Taking ownership of their queries and building strong relationships, you will help customers with their finances by understanding their needs and pointing them towards the right products or services.
About the position
As a Customer Consultant you will be responsible for:
- Engaging with your customers to provide excellent customer service, keeping our promises and proactively following up on all enquiries.
- Proactively identifying opportunities to help customers with their financial needs, through getting to know them and, where accredited, completing a fact find.
- Initiating and supporting brand building activities within the community to attract, acquire and retain customers.
- Taking responsibility for recognising and resolving customer complaints
- Assisting Local Leaders as required including supporting, mentoring and developing other team members.
- Where authorised, deputising for the Local Leader and undertaking branch control checks.
- Adhering to all branch controls, audit and security standards.
- Adopting a right first-time approach to provide customers with a seamless experience as well as carrying out customer transactions in an accurate and timely manner.
- Delivering a best-in-class customer service and customer experience, demonstrated through proactively seeking customer feedback to deliver a strong NPS & Customer Satisfaction score.
What we are looking for?
- Good Numeracy and English qualifications.
- Customer Service experience is highly advantageous.
- High level of emotional intelligence, empathy and exceptional customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Experience in Financial Services is helpful
