The Role
We are looking for an HR Assistant to join our Human Resources department and support our full-cycle recruiting.
Key Responsibilities
- Support with resourcing and recruitment activities, making best use of related resource and equipment such as social media and Web-recruit
- Liaise with hiring managers to discuss staffing requirements
- Provide advice and guidance to hiring managers on the use and functionality of digital recruitment platforms
- Provide support to make sure all site recruitment and resourcing needs are met in a timely and efficient manner and compliant with diversity, equality and inclusion best practice and relevant legislation
- Plan interview and conduct selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments and in-person interviews
- Assist with designing job descriptions and interview questions that reflect each position’s requirements
- Organise and attend job fairs and recruitment events
- Maintain accurate vacancy listings and associated trackers, disseminating across the organisation where appropriate.
- Ensure that all mandatory ‘right to work’ and initial assessment checks are carried out and cleared prior to employment in line with company policy (Statutory & Regulatory, including ITAR)
- To support general administrative duties and projects across the HR & Training function as required.
Job Requirements
- A good understanding of employment law and HR best practice and/ or a keen interest and willingness to learn
- A good understanding of key administrative software packages such as Microsoft Office
- Experience in working in a multi layered or matrix organisation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Passionate about people with excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Enjoy working in a team
- A fast learner
