**Job purpose: -**
Deliver standalone NVQ's to employed staff. Qualifications - Level 3 Residential Childcare and Level 5 Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare
**Requirements - NVQ Level 3 in delivery area and/or Occupational experience (in Residential Childcare or Childcare), PTLLS, CTLLS, Certificate in Education or PGCE, Award in Education and Training and Certificate in Education and Training.**
**Accountabilities:
- **
It is the role of the tutor to ensure each learner on the course makes progress with their training on each training session, and achieves their qualification in a timely and orderly manner to the set requirements of the awarding body. All funding paperwork, registers and any paperwork that is part of delivery is the accountability of the tutor until the student completes and the file is handed in for IQA and the paperwork is passed over to the quality team for final checks.
**Main Duties:

- Planning and delivering training programmes and workshops
- Providing feedback and offering advice if the standards have not been met.
- Sign off the award when all the requirements have been meet
- Receive and act on feedback from internal and external verifiers
- Attend standardisation meetings and planning meetings with the designated Internal Quality Assurance (IQA).
- Attend Continuous Personal Development (CPD) programmes on request by management.
- Work according to awarding body rules, the code of practice, JCCP examination requirements and report any concerns or breaches.
- Uphold Health and Safety, Equality and Diversity and all relevant legislation whilst planning and delivering courses.
- Safeguard all students and report any concerns to the Safeguarding Officer and the managers
- Liaise with Head Office on a weekly basis and complete any reports for information within the given deadlines.

Specific conditions are specified in the contract of employment. Delivery will encompass the North East & North West.
40 hours per week.
This role requires some evening/weekend visits to meet the needs of the business.
To travel to Manchester once or twice a month
**Qualifications and Experience:
- **
Tutor/Assessors must be experienced within the given qualifications as a minimum;
NVQ Level 3 in delivery area and/or Occupational experience (in Residential Childcare or Childcare)
PTLLS, CTLLS, Certificate in Education or PGCE
D32, D33 or A1 and A2, TAQA, Award in Education and Training and Certificate in Education and Training.
Drivers with their own vehicle is desirable
Experience in teaching
Ability to adapt and work in a fast-paced environment to strict deadlines.
Strong I.T Skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Word & Excel.
To have or be working towards all the required qualifications & complete this within 12 months of services
Ability to work in a team and working unsupervised
Ability to perform under pressure
Level 2 in Safeguarding desirable
