Inspyreplus provide opportunities which support and safeguard children and young people and their families. Both scheduled and urgent referrals are received from a range of teams including children's services, schools and foster care teams to provide assistance.

Support and intervention includes:

- Emergency and quick response intervention, including supervised contact; welfare checks; waking night monitoring/ support; transition and planning support.
- Consult and deliver parenting/ family support, including Triple P Parenting.
- Attend multi-professional meetings, or prepare reports to inform the meeting, as well as support CYP to attend meetings and/or engage in difficult conversations.
- Support young people aged 16+ in supported accommodation, to ensure their needs are met and they have opportunities to develop independence.
- Court reports; parenting assessments; risk assessments; AIM 2 Assessment and Intervention
- Independence skills including employability, leaving care and transition, keeping safe and self-care

Looking for professionals with experience and training to provide:

- Opportunities for social activities and engagement with the wider community
- Opportunities for physical activities
- Opportunities to incorporate our other Mentoring Support Service, Social Care Services or Professional Services and community resources and networks to educational services.
- Family observations in home and in the community
- Family and parent assessments and facilitating support

You will deliver support to children, young people and their families in the community; their family home; hospital; schools; or other settings.

This post is 24/7. You will support the child or young person for a specified time ie three hours, three times a week for one month. You may work with more than one child throughout the week or at any one time.

**Required**:

- Diploma Level 3 (or higher) in children and young people's workforce (or relevant)
- Full driving licence with business insurance and use of your own car
- Clear, enhanced DBS certificate on the online update service
- Right to work in the UK
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to build rapport and establish trust with mentees
- Excellent listening skills and the ability to provide constructive feedback
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others succeed
- Knowledge or experience in the field or area of mentoring/ education
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the individual needs of each mentee

**Job Types**: Freelance, Zero hours contract

**Salary**: From £15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 - 40 per week

- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Every weekend
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- No weekends
- Weekend availability
- Weekends only

**Education**:

- A-Level or equivalent (required)

- 100% (required)
