We have both **full-time** and **part-time** positions available for community-based female Support Workers.
You will receive**full training and ongoing support**, so even if you are new to care, you are in the best hands - we will provide you with the necessary skills and knowledge you need to be become part of our A-Team.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Encourage and support clients to define and develop their chosen lifestyle, ensure they are involved in the planning of the service they want, and provide them with the agreed necessary support to maximise their independence.
- Enable clients to develop a positive self-image and maintain good health.
- Support the planning or organising of activities, structure, and routines as well as supporting the maintenance of new and existing friendships and relationships.
- Support and assist in personal care tasks, including washing, bathing, toileting, dental care and or dressing when required.
- Monitor, support, or administer medication as required.
- Support and assist in household tasks including general cleaning, laundry, shopping, and cooking and assist the client in their household management to include finances and personal budgets.
- Make accurate records of the support and care given and keep and maintain written records as required, including the daily logs, financial transactions, medication administration records, etc.
- Attend supervision and appraisal meetings within the Accolade Support and Care office and when required attend team meetings.

- We pay for your time to attend our induction day and on-going training
- You will work alongside an experienced member of the team for up to two weeks to help you settle into the new environment and to provide mentoring
- 5.6 weeks paid holidays per year (pro rata)
- Monthly bonus scheme
- Fully funded training - Care Certificate, RQF (NVQ) Level 2, 3, & 5 available
- Referral Scheme - earn up to £200 for referring a friend
- Long Service Awards - 2 extra annual leave days after 3 years, 2 extra annual leave days after 5 years, and 2 extra annual leave days after 8 years

- You will have a designated line manager who will mentor you through your professional development and help you look after your well-being.
**Essential Skills**:
- **A full driving licence** and access to a vehicle is essential.
