Accounts Team Leader

A major Insurance Group has a new opportunity for a talented all rounder to manage their Accounts and Credit Control Team in Ipswich.
As well as looking after a small team supporting the Business across all of it's accounts activities, you'll look after all other elements of managing the day-to-day aspects of the running of the Operation.
You'll be working closely with the Head of the Business to support the continuing success and planned growth of the Group.
**As Accounts Team Leader your main responsibilities will include**:
- Manage the Accounts Team to ensure the effective management of the flow of money inside and outside the Company.
- Supporting the business with its Regulatory responsibilities - handling of premiums, payment of claims and accounting reconciliations and reporting.
- Managing office operations - workplace management, FCA returns, Compliance, Health & Safety etc.
- Provide focal point for day-to-day Operational matters including implementing process efficiencies.
- Liaise with other Departments across the Group.
**To be a successful Operations Team Leader you will demonstrate**:
- Leading a team across a range of Accounts activities within an Insurance environment
- Experience of resolving Operational issues, often using your own initiative
- Confidence handling accounting issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong excel knowledge and IT literacy, enabling you to improve processes
- Successful change management background with a focus on improvement
- Positive, organised and results driven
