Easy Bathrooms are recruiting for a HR Advisor role in the largest independent Bathroom retailer in England. In this role, you will support the daily operations of the HR department, providing clerical and administrative support to the Head of HR. As a HR Advisor, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to managing employee relations cases, including the investigation, disciplinary and grievance process, handling parental leave, managing absence, flexible working requests and welfare risk assessments.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide HR support and guidance to managers and staff at our shops and Head Office.
- Provide timely and appropriate guidance on employee relations topics, absence management and employee welfare.
- Conduct formal and informal meetings via telephone, video call, or in person
- Review, update, and advice on company policies, identifying opportunity for improvement in existing policies and procedures.
- Promote a positive work environment where employees feel supported and motivated.
- Provide guidance on performance management to enhance productivity and accountability.
- Develop initiatives to promote a culture of engagement and teamwork.
- Prepare and complete HR-related monthly reports
- Report directly to the Head of HR
- Provide HR support for 800 employees as part of a team of 4
- Serve as the first point of contact for HR queries, offering advice to managers and employees.
- Monitor and update staff records, including contracts, training records and absence.
- Always handle sensitive workplace issues with integrity and confidentiality

**Qualifications and Experience include**:

- CIPD qualified Level 5/7
- Strong knowledge of employee relations and employment legislation, with experience handling a wide range of employee relations matters
- Experience using HR Systems
- Excellent communication skills
- Motivated to consistently seek opportunities for personal and business improvement.
- Proactive in work and problem-solving, with the ability to identify and address issues as they arise.
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects
- Proficient in Microsoft office
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Maintain a high level of discretion and diligence when handling sensitive and confidential employee data and information
- Flexible and adaptable to support a range of departments and functions within the business
- Mental Health First Aid qualification is preferred

**Hours: 8:30 - 17:00**

**Monday - Friday (40-hour contract)**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £34,000 per year
