**Operational Information Security Manager - IT Services & Solutions Consultancy**

**Location: Manchester**

**Salary: £80-90K pa & excellent benefits**

Our client, an expanding medium-sized specialist IT services & solutions consultancy is looking to take on an **Operational Information Security Manager to join** their Manchester-based office. As an Information Security Manager, you will be responsible to articulate and manage the direction and scope of the Company’s new security department. To review and formalisethe internal security management procedures and align to industry best practice and develop/maintain the security of multiple services supporting UK National Security Interests and Safety.

**Duties and background experience**:

- The operation of security capabilities in support of existing and new services, including UK sovereign cloud.
- The security management of suppliers and operation of internal and managed customer services in accordance with agreed Security Policies, HMG requirements, agreed SyOps and terms of contract.
- Create & Maintain policies, standards and other materials to effectively manage the secure delivery of services in accordance with their respective risk management and SyOps documentation.
- Ensure compliance with and completion of regulatory returns**:CSA, CCM/CAIQ & ISO 27001 certifications**.
- Manage and direct division of responsibilities in accordance with the Cloud Shared Responsibility Model (cloud Services).
- Provide a single point of security contact and operational security management to Suppliers, Clients and associated projects.
- Management of all security incidents affecting operated/hosted systems in conjunction with clients, suppliers and 3rd parties.
- Engage with all partners and service providers to ensure they understand and conform to secure operation requirements for system processing OFFICIAL, OFFICIAL (Sensitive) and OFFICIAL (Sensitive) SNI Data.
- Assessment and assurance of significant changes to live systems under control of Service Delivery in liaison with customers, partners and relevant risk and assurance assessors.
- Provision of security guidance and direction to projects to facilitate go-live of systems and services in liaison with customers, partners and relevant risk and assurance assessors.
- Act as first point of security contact for service providers (SOC etc.) and customers. Handling security incidents through to successful resolution.
