Responsibilities and duties:
Maintain the classroom and equipment in a safe and tidy condition.
Contribute to record-keeping by recording observations of pupils during the school day.
Communicate their knowledge and understanding of students to other school staff.
Demonstrate positive attitudes, values and behaviours consistent with the role and in line with the expectations.
Promote, support and facilitate inclusion by encouraging participation of all pupils in learning and extracurricular activities.
Provide teaching and learning support including the use of appropriate technical resources.
Support students with SEN and additional needs.
Essential Criteria:
Experience working with students or young people in an educational or care setting.
Consistent approach, perseverance and ability to set clear boundaries.
Strong understanding of behaviour management strategies.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Passion for making a difference in the life of a child.
Available 5 days a week Mon-Fri, from 8:30-15:30.

Pay: Five Education operates a PAYE payroll; this is the most transparent way to be paid with no hidden fees such as admin fees or employers' NI. We are also proud to be an accredited Living Wage employer. Please note pay rate is for illustration and does includeholiday pay.
Vetting: Five Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all of the staff we employ to share this commitment. Successful applicants will be required to undergo checks including reference checks,and TRA checks, and will need to have a DBS; there will also be a face-to-face interview.
