**Head of Technical Training and Information**:
**Duties & Responsiblities**:
- Produce training schedules and classroom age
- Determine course content according to objectives
- Prepare training material (presentations, worksheets etc.)
- Execute training sessions, webinars, workshops etc. in groups or individually
- Arrange for and conduct on-site training when needed
- Keep and report data on completed courses, absences, issues etc.
- Observe and evaluate results of training programs
- Determine overall effectiveness of programs and make improvements
- Keep up to date with the latest technologies - Group and UK/DUBLIN
- Manage the Group Certification Programme, including gap identification and training closure loop.
- Support with Confirmation of Periodic Safety Inspections (CPSI) works and relevant training
- Support with Direct Letter Field Information (DLFI) training, including DLFI methodology, training and execution.
- Deliver on site and classroom trainings when required.
- Manage the Schindler apprentice programme - Including Mentorship and direct training
- Manage the UK NVQ programme
- Proven experience as Technical Trainer
- Degree/equivalent in a relevant technical/training field
- A proven track record within the elevator and escalator industry
- Experienced in both Construction and Maintenance/Service/Repair
- Experience in designing technical course content
- Ability to address training needs with complete courses
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
- Direct coaching, mentoring and facilitated learning & development experience
- High level of technical competence on Schindler and 3rd Party equipment
- Experienced and able to develop and also present training materials
- Working knowledge in MS Office (especially Powerpoint)
- Outstanding communication skills and comfortable speaking to crowds
- Good knowledge and a promotor of health and safety, SAP Skills, (LMS)
- Full Driving License required, flexible and prepared to travel when necessary, (overnight stays away required)
