Are you a passionate Project Manager, looking for an exciting new role?

Coulter Elite Resourcing are currently looking for a Project Manager to work with one of their well-established and very successful clients based in Milton Keynes working as part of their Mechanical Engineering team.

The Project Manager will lead the planning, management, implementation, and completion of new product development projects, leading cross-functional teams to enable successful project delivery in alignment with strategic business objectives.

Our client is a large Scale Manufacturing firm based in Milton Keynes specialising in Mechanical equipment. The Business have a great reputation for the products they offer and the career progression opportunities they offer

Principle Responsibilities for the Project Manager:

- Lead the generation of project briefs and product specification documentation;
- Work with project sponsors and stakeholders to establish project objectives and deliverables;
- Prepare, manage and communicate project plans and schedules, and maintain comprehensive project documentation;
- Coordinate, monitor, and prioritise activities of the project team;
- Manage & minimise project risk and ensure lessons learnt transfer across projects;
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs;
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques;
- Report project status to relevant parties and escalate to management as needed;
- Ensure project deliverables are achieved on time, within scope and budget, allowing for smooth project handover;
- Ensure that the different project phases are completed to schedule.

Person specification:

- Previous project management experience is essential ideally from a mechanical background;
- Experience managing the design and development of new products;
- Engineering degree.
- Decision-making ability and leadership skills;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Able to work as part of a team and liaise with stakeholders;
- Good attention to detail.

This is a full time permanent Project Manager position, with a 40 hour working week, offering an annual salary of up to £55,000 plus annual company benefits to include a 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays, pension scheme, annual bonus of £500, free companylunches, free family events and free car parking.
