**Position: Maintenance Assistant (Full Time, Permanent)**

**Location: PREMIER SUITES Glasgow**

PREMIER SUITES PLUS Glasgow are currently recruiting for a Full Time Maintenance Assistant to join the team.

**The Hotel**

Located in the heart of Glasgow, just a short walk from Glasgow Central Station, Queen Street Station and the retail area of Buchanan Street, PREMIER SUITES PLUS Glasgow George Square is an excellent luxury hotel alternative with sophisticated serviced apartments.

**The Role**

Duties will include:

- Providing General Maintenance within the hotel and its ground
- To notify the General Manager should a maintenance problem require further attention
- Provide painting and decorating assistance throughout the property
- Ensure that a safe and secure environment for customers, staff and visitors is maintained;
- Ensuring that all customer queries and complaints are dealt with in a professional and efficient manner
- Ensuring the public area and car park is clean & tidy
- At least 1 years’ previous experience in a hotel’s maintenance department.
- Previous experience of working in a standards-driven environment.
- Intermediate MS Office skills to include Word and Excel.
- A creative and solutions-focused approach when problem-solving.
- Basic knowledge of maintenance trade would be essential.
- Skill in the use of related tools (including hand & electrical tools) is beneficial
