Butler Rose is pleased to be supporting an industry leading consumer-based business that has sites across the UK with a newly created Senior Client Accounting Manager vacancy.

Our client has strategic growth plans over the coming years and sees the Senior Client Accounting Manager position as an integral role within their management team, and as the Senior Client Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for leading, directingand taking overall responsibility for the accounting team.

The Senior Client Accounting Manager will report into the Head of Client Accounting and duties will include:

- Ensure the monthly production of accurate management information and the presentation of important data at Monthly Operational Board Meetings.
- Establish a framework to direct client accounting team structure and reporting lines. Review and recommend client accounting team behaviours and monitoring.
- Enhance the control environment by incorporating mínimal control standards through continuing communication and regular evaluation, which are enforced by periodic audits.
- Working with colleagues in a wider process optimisation project, ensuring processes are optimised to record client funds accurately and timely.
- Review existing client accounting managers' experience, training, and competency. Develop and prepare a monthly dashboard to inform the CFO and Managing Directors of the status of client accounting
- Work in partnership with Finance Directors, Client Accounting Managers and their teams to identify synergies and share best practice, skills, insights and feedback to enhance effective, consistent delivery of financial reporting activities to the business
- This role will suit accountant with client facing exposure i.e roles in external / internal audit or from a risk or controls background.
- You will hold an accounting or risk qualification
- You will have developed and maintained robust procedures strengthening controls and mitigating risk
- You have strong written and verbal skills to communicate succinctly
- You will be motivated and enjoy working autonomously and have effective project management skills to ensure deadlines and conflicting priorities are managed
