**Contract Manager**

**Upto £65k + benefits**

Our client is a niche 3PL, specialising in the distribution of multi-temp product to Major Retailers. Due to an unprecedented growth, we are delighted to assist them in their search for a Contract Manager to be assigned to a major blue chip client in orderto be the main point of contact for both parties.

The role will be part of the Commercial structure and will require substantial interaction with the commercial team members and the wider operational, financial and HR departments within our clients business.

The role will have a major bias towards project management including a key skill around IT implementation.

**Main Responsibilities as Contract Manager**:

- To create and deliver the annual budget and developments for the Account.
- Drive the projects identified (both operational and commercial)
- To produce project plans for both the Client and the Account
- To create a development plan to grow the Account in a controlled manner.
- To be the first point of contact for the accounts supply chain team to make sure the Client is at the head of the queue for any new business opportunities presented within the accounts head office.
- To be approachable and integrate into the culture and structure of the Accounts Head office.
- Be readily available and contactable for any account related issues.
- To ensure that the Account remains and improves profitability.
- To ensure that the Client maintains and exceeds the DOT targets as per the Account agreement.
- In partnership with the Key Account manager and Customer Services ensure all claims are dealt with in line with our agreed terms and conditions and are resolved swiftly.
- Produce all reports as requested by the Business Development Director and the Senior Management Team.
- Produce all reports as requested by The Account Supply Chain team.
- To challenge and improve where operational failures are identified.
- Proven logistics background
- Project management and implementation
- IT and Technology competent
- Proven ability to interact at board level.
- Ideally CPC Qualified
- Full driving licence
- Ability to evidence broad managerial experience.
- Evidence of taking ownership for challenges and results.
- Able to work flexibly including ability to cover the operation 24/7
- Understanding of Environmental pressures and challenges
