**Detailed job description and main responsibilities**:
Key result areas:

- To provide full administrative support to the Radiotherapy Quality Manager.
- To organise regular and ad hoc meetings necessary for the running of the Quality Team functions and department including venues, generation and distribution of agendas, minutes and other documentation and the recording of notes and minutes during meetings.
- Ensure that recorded actions from meetings are followed up and acted on within the agreed timescales.
- To actively maintain the ISO 9001:2015 Quality System.
- To undertake internal quality system audits, clinical audit and service evaluation.
- To support the Cancer Division Audit Programme and to support the designated clinical audit lead to deliver this.
- To support the Macmillan Information & Support Radiographer in the development and production of a wide variety and large number of departmental site-specific patient information leaflets and booklets.
- To provide quality administrative support to the Superintendent Radiographers in order to contribute to the efficiency of across the radiotherapy services.
- To provide quality administrative support and appropriate documentation to other staff within the establishment in order to contribute to the efficiency of the department.
- To provide quality administrative support/documentation to students, and other members of staff undergoing training in the department, thus facilitating their ongoing education.
- To assist with Data entry onto clinical systems. This will involve data entry into the planning database, amending/ inputting data into ARIA and running reports from departmental databases, ARIA and Epic.
- To run reports and collate data in order to monitor Key Performance Indicators as required within the radiotherapy and proton beam therapy service specifications
- Review performance data, trends, and processes, and using analysis and judgement to identify and propose opportunities for development and improvement.
- To participate in tracking and monitoring compliance against relevant national targets.
- To prepare quality reports for presentation at meetings within the Trust, radiotherapy network meetings, NHSE level meetings and those undertaken with the PBT private provider.

- An understanding of what a quality system is, e.g. ISO 9001:2015 and the impact it has on the service
- Knowledge and experience of performing internal quality system audits
- Previous NHS experience

- Relevant administrative / secretarial experience
- Experience of data entry and storage
- Database management experience

- Must be numerate
- Able to take and transcribe minutes
