Bournemouth, United Kingdom 3 Sided Cube Full time

**Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 - depending on experience**
**Location: Bournemouth/Hybrid Working - Minimum of 2 days a week in the office**

**Designing solutions to the world's biggest problems**

We’re looking for a UX designer to join our passionate creative team and work on award winning tech for good products that create a positive impact for our users and clients.

At 3 Sided Cube, we only focus on Tech for Good projects. Our mission is to help change millions of lives for the better and we’ve worked with some amazing charities and organisations such as The American Red Cross, UNHCR (the UN Refugee Agency), Lush and the World Resources Institute, to name a few

Our main offices are based in Bournemouth, but we promote flexibility in terms of where our team can work - you can work remotely however we’d want you to be able to come into the office for at least 2 days a week (it’s so much easier to problem-solve as a team sometimes)

**The stuff you've already got under your belt**
- At least a years experience working in a relevant design role & working on digital products.
- Excellent communication skills. The ability to tell a story, challenge assumptions, bring others on the journey of project progression and get buy-in for design decisions is a must.
- An obsession with creating well performing products. You’ll need to possess empathy with users and clients and take pride in delivering effective solutions.
- A love of well designed digital products, a keen interest in the UX field and a curiosity about the future of our industry.
- Knowledge of usability principles and best practices is a must.
- Strong organisation and prioritisation skills.

**The things that make you extra special**
- Familiarity with UX design tools such as Figma, Figjam and Miro would be great, but adaptability and openness to learning new tools (and more) is much more important.
- Making sense of complex information and structure to help users, clients and internal teams develop clear understanding of interfaces and other design deliverables.
- Ability to identify overlaps in client and user requirements and spot opportunities for ideation and innovation within them.
- Experience of collaboration in product specifications with product owners in a user story format.
- Strong critical thinking skills. We need team members who can understand a problem deeply and identify the most effective UX tools and processes for the situation.

**Let's talk about the day job**
- Planning and running user research using project-relevant methodologies and synthesising findings into actionable insights.
- Mapping high level flows, information architecture, wireframes and other design artefacts that guide high fidelity prototypes and designs for development in collaboration with our UI designers, developers, product owners and client stakeholders.
- Facilitating immersion and ideation workshops to clarify problems and ideate solutions with cross-functional teams.
- Communicating design decisions to internal and external teams guided by evidence from user research, product data and best practice.
- Planning set ups of analytics to measure the impact of our products.
- Contributing innovative thinking to discovery phases and new client proposals.
- Producing UX reviews of products to identify recommendations for improvement based on data, user research and best practice.

**A few more reasons to join the team**
- **Salary** - £30,000-£40,000 dependant on experience
- **Remote Working** - For this role we’d like you to be in the office at least 2 days a week however you can work remotely the rest of the time. We offer a remote working budget to help you get set up and we’ll make sure you have all the tools you need to work from home.
- **Flexible Hours** - You can start your day anytime between 8 and 9:30am and finish between 4:30 and 6pm - making sure you complete your working day
- **Holiday**:

- 23 days of holiday with an additional day for each year of service up to 28 days. We shut down over Christmas so everyone can take a well-earned break.
- **Development** - Progression plans to help with your personal development. Up to £1000 per year to spend on your development and training.
- **Giving Back**:

- We offer 3 days out of work every year to volunteer for a ‘for good’ organisation. We also give a donation to a charity of your choice on your birthday
- Health and wellbeing
- Fully subsidised counselling services
- Cycle to Work scheme
- Healthy snacks and drinks in the office
- Free lunch Friday
- Office space
- Fun, relaxed environment with a fully stocked kitchen and recreational facilities (pool table, table tennis etc)
- We’re pet-friendly and usually have a couple of office dogs snoozing under desks
- Free parking if you choose to drive in (although we’re very close to the train station and bus routes)
- Social events
- Regular team events throughout the year such as team building initiatives, lunch-time bea
