A well-established manufacturing company are seeking a Project Engineer to join their team of reliable, experienced staff in Greater Manchester.
As a Project Engineer you will:

- Gain a thorough understanding of customer needs and requirements when discussing projects.
- Act as a the face of the company when liaising with the customer and all areas of the company.
- Compile and issue all Project Progress Reports throughout the project.
- Manage all aspects of the project from cradle to grave, ensuring the project is delivered to a high specification, on time, and within budget.
- Conduct regular face to face meetings with customers, maintaining whilst building strong working relationships.
- Support the Sales Team to secure more projects.
- Create project documentation, including manufacturing instructions.
- Carry out risk management and change management.
- Create and maintain project schedules.
- Project cost and control reporting.
- Prepare bids, calculations, parts lists, work orders, organising schedules, attending pre-production meetings whilst preparing all technical documentation.
- Manage procurement, expediting, and liaison with sub-contractors.
- Inspect equipment both in house and suppliers.
- Prepare quotations of new plant spares, service and refurbishments.

We are looking for a Project Engineer with the following skills and experience:

- HNC / HND / Degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical Engineering
- Previous full “Cradle-To-Grave” project experience of skid-mounted Engineered / Technical Projects (Requirements Capture - Design - Manufacture - Commissioning, including quotations and manufacturing throughput)
- Relevant prior experience in a RO-related industry
- Budget responsibility for projects
- Ability to manage multiple multi-phase projects at any one time
- Ability to read and review technical drawings, schematics & specifications
- Articulate and effective communicator capable of working with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong customer focus and ability to forge and build strong customer relationships
- Strong communicator with advanced presentation skill
- Strong planning and organisational skills with a proven ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks & projects

You will receive a salary of £32,000- £35,000 pa (Dependant On Experience).
