JOB TITLE: Assistant Divisional Legal Manager
LOCATION: Hampshire
THE ROLE: To assist and support the Divisional Legal Manager in the management and provision of an efficient, service led in-house estate conveyancing service to the appropriate Business Units (and to other Business Units as may be required from time to time)for the sale of new homes and part exchange and other related transactions. This will include providing guidance and support for the Estate Conveyancers to enable them to respond to plot sales enquiries, checking and signing off part-exchange acquisition reports,and checking and signing plot Contracts prior to exchange of contracts
Work will include but not limited to:
- Preparation of legal packs for the sale of plots including drafting site specific provisions in plot documents and preparing documentation to satisfy Restrictions on site titles
- Infrastructure agreements for the adoption of works to new and closed developments, including Section 278 and 38 agreements, Section 104 and 185 agreements and Section 111 agreements
- Land Transfers/Easements to utility companies
- Sales of surplus land
- Sales of freehold reversions
- Management Agreements and Land Transfers to Management Companies
- Transfers of Public Open Space to Local Authorities
- Lease extensions, deeds of covenant, deeds of rectification
- Documents required to resolve historic enquiries
