An opportunity to join a dynamic accountancy and tax practice based in York, specialising in the Investment Property sector.

Reporting directly to one of the Directors of the firm, the role is suited to an experienced payroll assistant, with experience of working in a small accountancy practice or payroll bureau.

This is a flexible role, and the hours per week are dependent on the payroll work necessary during each week - naturally, most hours will be spent at month end, but there are two weekly payrolls.

Location: Home based, but should ideally be within 30 min travel time of York. In the first two weeks of starting, you may be asked to attend training on-site for one or two days.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Administration of small company payrolls

**Qualifications and Skills**
- High organisation skills required
- Ability to work under pressure, when required
- Knowledge of dropbox would be an advantage
- Knowledge of Kashflow payroll an advantage
- Excellent communicator
- Proactive and ability to work using own initiative.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: £12.00-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 10 per week
