Leading global organisation is looking to recruit a Commercial People Business Partner on a Hybrid working basis based at their City of London office.

**Purpose of the job**:
Responsible for supporting the delivery of a customer driven and comprehensive People service for various Commercial functions, providing day to day support to key stakeholders, including exec teams and line managers, manage employee escalations and ensuringall relevant People policies and procedures are correctly applied.
**Key Tasks**:
This role will focus on partnering with the **On Trade function** from an end to end people perspective, but is not limited to supporting other functions as required.
**Implementation of Strategic Partnership**:

- Support the implementation of People strategic direction by undertaking appropriate diagnostic work;
- Facilitate effective implementation of new People initiatives in designated areas as appropriate;
- Ensure the alignment of people strategies with existing company policies and procedures;
- Undertake specific project work as required (e.g. Change Projects), including organizational and structure changes.

**Stakeholder Management**:

- Relationship Building: Build successful relationships with key internal stakeholders, in particular with exec teams and line managers, as well as external stakeholders, in particular recruitment and legal partners;
- Develop strong networks across the business.
- Coaching: Coach all stakeholders, in particular line managers across all levels of seniority, on key people topics, ensuring strict confidentiality and professionalism.

**Line Management Support**:

- Recruitment
- Provide resourcing advice to all functions as required;
- Ensure agreed recruitment processes are followed;
- Ensure alignment with our recruitment partner to minimize time to hire;

**Operational Advice & Support**:

- Provide day to day assistance to line managers in line with agreed levels and standards required;
- Maintain up to date knowledge of the legislative framework;
- Maintain appropriate SLA for key departments on the level and standard of day to day support required;
**Employee relations**:

- Champion the promotion of a culture of performance, change orientation and improvement;
- Ensure all ER matters are managed appropriately and lead on any required escalations with the assistance of the Commercial People Coordinator.

**Budgeting**:

- Support the delivery of our people package targets, including closely reviewing our headcount and vacancy management on a monthly basis.

**Learning and Development:
Training needs**
- Liaise with the local PCIC team to ensure effective training and development plans in place for individuals and teams;
- Assist as required with GMT and MVP talent programmes, amongst others;
- Deliver training as required to large groups of employees and line managers.

**Leadership Development**:

- Monitor and lead local Performance Review processes to ensure a consistent approach and timetable is aligned to the annual people cycle;
- Assist with all people cycle processes across each function and implement agreed action plans as required.

**Rewards**:

- In partnership with the local Rewards lead, assist with all annual rewards processes.

**Drive excellence**:

- Ensure ability to react in a timely way to People demands at all levels of the organisation;
- Establish a good understanding of the business environment;

**Essential requirements for the role**:

- You must have 2 to 3 years people advisory experience
- Highly confident with strong attention to detail;
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to quickly gain rapport and trust across all levels;
- Coach and provide candid feedback to others;
- Strong influencer, able to challenge management and employees where appropriate;
- Highly results focused;
- Highly tenacious and resilient with the ability to see things through to completion in a climate of ambiguity and change;
- Excellent team player, able to develop strong relationships with colleagues and peers;
- Leads by example, and lives the company’s values, ensuring confidentiality and discretion at all times and proactively looks for and acts upon opportunities to close gaps;
- Able to work on own initiative and prioritize workload effectively;
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to compile effective reports with strong presentation skills;
