Head of Bids and Contract Administration

We are currently looking for a **Head of Bids and Contract Administration** to join our team and play a pivotal role in delivering the Tunstall UK & Ireland financial and strategic goals.
**What will you be doing in this role?**
As the Head of Bids and Contract Administration you will be responsible for making sure all tender submissions are of the highest possible standard to help maximise our tender win rates. You will build great relationships with procurement organisations (frameworks), to ensure that Tunstall is ‘front of mind’ when opportunities for direct awards arise.
Providing robust post tender analysis to inform solution development and commercial proposition and pricing, as well as working to make sure our opportunities for contract extensions and renewals are optimised is vital to the success of this role.
You will work cross functionally, taking a pro-active and focussed approach to all bids and tenders, ensuring all stakeholders are engaged in the bid process, and support the Bid and Framework Manager and Commercial teams to identify and make the most of any opportunities for direct calls that arise.
In addition, you will lead, coach, and motivate both direct and indirect reports and embed a culture of continuous improvement to help to drive Tunstall’s success.
You will be an **excellent communicator**, with proven experience of leading teams who undertake **bids / tenders** and be well versed in effectively coordinating multiple activities and stakeholders. You will have a **strong analytical capability**, a **commercial mindset**, able to navigate complex structures and processes as well as initiate and drive change.

- Forensic approach to planning and work coordination to meet strict deadlines
- Working understanding of procurement regulations
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
**Desirable**
- APMP Practitioner level, or higher
- Previous experience of working within health & social care environment/and or a background in solutions and services
