We are a long-established, friendly high street law firm with offices in Hampton Wick and Ewell, providing a variety of legal services to individuals and businesses. Our team prides itself on offering a professional and personal service, and we are looking for someone to be the welcoming face of our office and support the smooth running of our day-to-day operations.

**The Role**

We are seeking a professional, organised and personable **Front of House / Receptionist** to join our team. This is a varied and essential role, where you’ll be the first point of contact for clients and visitors and play a key part in our administrative support team. You may also assist with compliance and other office management tasks, depending on experience.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Reception duties**
- Welcoming clients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Managing incoming calls, taking clear messages and directing calls appropriately
- Handling incoming and outgoing post and deliveries
- Managing meeting room bookings and ensuring rooms are presentable
- Maintaining a tidy and welcoming reception area

**Administrative support**
- Scanning, copying and filing documents (physical and digital)
- Assisting with file opening and archiving processes
- Supporting fee earners and the admin team with general office tasks

**Compliance (if applicable)**
- Assisting with ID verification and client due diligence checks
- Helping to maintain compliance registers and records
- Supporting the team with file reviews and audit preparation

**What We’re Looking For**
- Previous experience in a receptionist or front-of-house role, ideally within a professional services environment
- Excellent communication skills and a warm, approachable manner
- A positive and proactive attitude and an ability to prioritise effectively
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)

Pay: £12.50-£13.50 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
