**Introduction**:
**Our client is a family run business who deliver a range of multi-temperature food products to caterers across the country They are looking for a Head of Sales to join their dedicated team of experts**

**You will take key ownership on the leadership and management of staff through 1-2-1 and team meetings**

**This is a full-time permanent role, Monday - Friday 40 hours per week across 5 days.**

**You will be required to travel across the Southwest of the UK and will have an office base location of Gloucestershire.**

**Key responsibilities**:

- Direct and Indirect line management across a team of 10+
- engaging with the team through 121, team meetings and customer meetings
- Own Joint business planning and contract re-negotiation on top accounts
- Directly controlled and set pricing at a customer level through their team
- Accountability of the team budget, forecast, Company KPI, and Service Level management
- Margin management and customer profitability
- Sales Team Management
- Negotiation
- New Business Acquisition and Leadership
- Customer Service

**Skills & experience**:

- Previous experience within the food and hospitality industries
- Proven track record in winning, keeping and developing business
- Excellent commercial skills and a strong sales drive
- People focussed and an excellent communicator
- Proven management of running a team of 10+ people
- Ability to coach and develop a team
