Housekeeping Supervisor

We at Nova Cleaning Ltd, based in The Fitzwilliam Hotel Belfast are excited to announce that we are looking for an Accommodation Supervisor to join our team. Your role will be to supervise work activities of cleaning personnel to ensure clean, orderly, and attractive rooms in apartments, public areas and buildings.
Assign duties and inspect work to a high standard.
Investigate complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment and take corrective action.
May purchase housekeeping supplies and equipment, take periodic inventories, screen applicants, train new employees, and recommend dismissals.
Deal with all linen ordering and enquiries. Manage all reject returns.
Ensure all work is completed by Accommodation staff at the end of the working day.
Be fully flexible regarding the daily running of the accommodation department. Working weekends and early mornings.
Ensure a full handover is made and communicated to supervisor/manager for the following day
Amend rota and control staff hours with the needs of the business.
Keep track of staff sickness/lateness when required
Train staff in accordance to the training programs set out by the Accommodation Manager.
Manage all health and safety in relation to staff
Make recommendations to improve service and a more efficient operation.
Manage all maintenance within the hotel and log onto system. Ensure maintenance teams are fully aware of issues
Must be able to work weekends and be fully flexible.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
**Salary**: £11.80 per hour
