Bakery Assistant

**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients for baking, including measuring, mixing, and portioning.
- Support the baking process by operating ovens and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bakery area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
- Help with decorating and packaging baked goods for display or sale in the coffee shop and vending machines.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely production and delivery of products.
- Follow recipes accurately to produce consistent quality baked items.
- Participate in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies when necessary.

**Skills**
- Experience in food production or food preparation is essential.
- Previous kitchen or culinary experience, particularly in baking, is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure hygiene standards are met.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.

Light lunch is provided and all additional food is discounted.

Pay: £12.21-£14.00 per hour
