MAC Clinical Research are looking for an enthusiastic **Clinical Trials Assistant **to join our busy clinic in Merseyside.

You’ll have a BSc in a scientific field or relevant experience and knowledge along with a real interest in clinical research.  The team need someone with a “can-do” attitude, an ability to communicate on all levels and pay attention to detail.

**The Focus of the Role**

To carry out clinical trial procedures and prioritise patient safety in adherence with ICH-GCP

**Responsibilities Include**
- Clinical activities ensuring a safe environment for colleagues and patients
- Attendance of study related meetings
- Patient and customer care
- Laboratory activities that will include specimen handling
- Pharmaceutical duties
- Data management
- Patient recruitment assistance, monitoring and promotion

**Physical, Work Environment and Travel Demands**
- Potentially long periods standing.
- Dealing with bodily fluids.
- Long periods looking at a computer screen.
- Meeting deadlines and working within strict timelines.
- Ability to travel between sites if required.
