Directorate: Regeneration & Environment
Permanent, Full time, 37 hours per week.
An exciting opportunity to work for Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council Building Contol Section as a Class 2 Registered Building Inspector.
The Building Control Team falls within the Planning Service and works alongside colleagues in Development Management Team, all within the Regeneration and Environment Directorate.
The Building Control Team consists of one Building Control Manager, an Assistant Manager and a Principal Officer and four Senior Officers, as well as a team of Building Control Admin Support Officers.
You should be able to work within tight timescales to deal effectively and efficiently with a workload of Building Regulations.
You will be required to carry out analysis and interpretation of different types of data from a variety of sources and produce management information as required.
