- Experience of management within children's social care services with specific knowledge and interest in Special Guardianship and Connected Persons
This is an excellent opportunity for a **Team Manager** seeking a permanent opportunity within an **Fostering and Kinship** service. This local authority based near Wandsworth are seeking a passionate and resilient manager who is committed to achieving positive outcomes for the children and young people that require a service from the team.
As Team Manager in the Kinship Team, you will be responsible for leading a committed group of at least five social workers. You will be working collaboratively with your colleagues across the department and with partners to deliver high-quality and responsivesocial work to the families we will be assessing and supporting. We value each staff member in the service and want each and every one to be a leader and champion of exemplary practice.
The service is continuously developing through actively reducing caseloads, extra training and working through the Signs of Safety Innovation Project. This allows you to use your own ideas to shape the way you work with the service users.
