**The Opportunity**
This is an exciting opportunity for you to be part of an ambitious, diverse and dynamic wider team that is challenging the convention of how banks service clients as part of a fresh Corporate Banking offering to mid-sized UK companies.
This is the first role of its sort in the Private Companies client channel, providing you with the opportunity to be a trailblazer and create a valuable, proactive client facing function.

**The Role**
The Digital Sales role is responsible for delivering our digital platform, its operational benefits and transactional capabilities into new and existing clients. This will be done over the phone, video conferences and in face to face meetings. As part of this role you are expected to also be able to deal over the phone with clients and create a seamless service for clients.
It is your responsibility to embed users on the digital platform, making it part of how they interact with Investec. This will help you meet KPI's focussed on user numbers, engagement, retention, referrals and operational efficiency.
**Experience**
- **Sales and Service**
You are expected to deliver exceptional service for clients across the Corporate and Investment Banking channels. We are looking for experience in high quality service roles and sales environments. A financial sales and service back ground is desirable, but not vital.
- **Collaboration and Stakeholder Management**
A track record of collaboration and stakeholder management will be important for both client and internal relationships. Every new client will provide us with opportunities to listen, learn and improve our digital offering as we grow.
**Skill-set**
In this role you will be responsible for pursuing ways to make our clients lives easier by understanding their internal processes and needs and offering solutions through our ix digital platform. In order to achieve this you will need the follow skills:
- A start-up mentality to embrace the opportunity to embed clients as users of our digital ix platform and service any resulting dealing client needs.
- Hunger and persistence to analyse platform usage and offline activity to build a pipeline of users to convert.
- Proactivity, passion and skill to nurture new and existing relationships into utilising our IX platform.
- A growth mind-set targeting client and revenue growth in your digital and dealing portfolios.
- Excellent collaboration with our digital and payment teams - particularly providing client insight and feedback to facilitate client led digital product development.
**Responsibilities**:
**Digital platform client engagement**
- Meet KPI's on embedding new ix users
- Demos and training to understand platform functionality
- Outbound platform sales calls for existing clients and users
- Convert lead lists of offline activity / actions from CS team
- Training and seminars for clients on how to get the best from ix
- Up-sell referrals - to execution, hedging, relationship with dealer
- Cross-sell referrals - payments, dynamic hedging, deposits and the wider bank where suitable
**Subject Matter Expert (SME) for ix digital platform team**:
- Close collaboration and alignment with Sales, Dealing and Client Servicing team on how IX should be delivered as part of our value proposition to clients
- Source of expertise on client needs and experience with those clients, for the ix team
- Gathering client feedback and testimonials - iX, pricing, product, service, experience
**Client Experience**
- Value add client call, prior to their first settlement with Investec
- Manage a portfolio of our most valuable clients as their dedicated Digital Sales contact
- Analyse client and sales MI to empower/guide conversations
- Change in contact service for new users - ix demo and operational assistance
- Client insight - what do our client's need? New products, digital feature and functionality ideas
- Market research - what are our competitors doing?
- Focus on building strong relationships with alternative contacts in our clients organisation e.g. FC, CFO, AP
- Ensure we have up-to-date and accurate user permissions and contact details

- Own dealer intervention to prevent lost business, for clients who monitor IX but don't trade, conv
