Lunar FPR Limited is based at Peterhead, and we are looking for a hardworking and reliable **Plant Controller** to work at our Fish Meal Protein Recovery Plant.

**Primary responsibilities**:

- Operating and monitoring the Plant Scada control system.
- Regular product sampling and testing and recording the results onto the daily shift form
- Responsible to make necessary adjustments to ensure good product quality.
- Responsible for Plant start-up / shut down in coordination with another operator.
- Cleaning
- Assisting with various tasks, in other areas
- Assisting inventory parts and materials.

Full training will be given.

The job can be physically demanding (climb stairs and walk throughout the shift).

**Skills required**:

- Good timekeeping is essential for this role
- Pleasant and professional manner in dealing with co-workers, supervisors, employees and outside agencies is essential
- Good team player and ability to work well in a multicultural environment
- Good communication skills (reading, speaking and writing)
- Ability to follow and carry out instructions given
- Forklift experience and vehicle driving licence would be an advantage.

**Schedule**:
It is a full-time, permanent position.

Shift work position (Backshift and Nightshift alternating-open to discuss fixed shift).

Back Shift: Monday to Friday (1500-2330)

Night Shift: Monday to Friday (2300-0730). During season start 0000 on Monday.

Overtime available (can be up to 12 working hours per day during season).Saturday work will be required during busy period.

**Good rate of pay plus shift allowance.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Peterhead, AB42 1DP: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
