**A warm welcome to the Beeches Care Home**

Operating since 1990, the Beeches is one of a group of three family owned and run care homes, and it is where we provide our consistently high quality care. Being family run, we engender a “family” ethos into the operation and atmosphere of the home, which makes it feel like “home” to the people we care for.

The Home itself has been purpose designed, built and equipped to provide safe, secure and comfortable accommodation. We pride ourselves in the quality care we provide and “Care with Dignity” are our watchwords. This drives every aspect of our approach in setting the high standards of service we provide in meeting the everyday needs of the people we care for.

M&A Management is looking for that special someone who will take pride in the properties they help to maintain. Someone who will love working as part of a wider team while being supportive to your colleagues as well as our tenants, residents and their families. Most importantly, you will feel proud to be the company’s Maintenance Person. We are extremely proud of all our teams and we will help you feel proud of the work you do too by sharing successes and warmly welcoming you into our extended family.

You will be initially based at Beeches Care Home Chorley but will be expected to attend one of our sister homes based in Wigan one day a week. We expect this role to incorporate Health and Safety oversight and compliance whilst also supervising and supporting our current maintenance team and attending emergencies as required.

You will have at least one years experience in general maintenance tasks and basic repairs including electrical, plumbing, joinery and building tasks and decorating of rooms to maintain the standards of the home. You’ll be responsible for key tasks such as the maintenance of heating and lighting, the overall fabric of the building, regular checks on the boiler and water systems and completing all relevant health and safety checks.

This is a special role because it gives you the chance to make a difference to our tenants and residents' lives every day.
