Role: Behaviour Mentor

Location: Bury

Tempest Resourcing is currently looking for an experienced behaviour mentor to work at a local secondary school in the Bury area. You will be working with secondary age pupils across KS3 & KS4 supporting them with their studies and providing extra assistance.

The role will be classroom based and you will support pupils o both a 1-1 basis and in small group as and when required.

The position is due to begin on 17thy January and is offered on a long-term basis, 5 days per week through until the end of the academic year.

**Key requirements**
- Previous experience working with pupils at KS3 & KS4
- Calm and patient demeanour
- Able to engage with pupils from a variety of backgrounds
- Happy to work on a 1-1 basis and in small group
- Supporting the classroom teacher

The role would suit someone who has previously worked in a secondary school as a behaviour mentor or teaching assistant but also someone who has worked with students in a different setting such a sports club, drama club, youth club or as a Scout or Guideleader.

The school are looking to secure someone from the 17th January and are interviewing now.
