**Opportunity Overview**: Resource Solutions has an exciting opportunity for an experienced PMO Finance Analyst to join MS Amlin. This **6 month FTC** is an ideal opportunity for an individual to gain exposure in a fast paced and high-performance workplace across the globe.

**Role Objective**: The PMO Finance Analyst is required run and improve processes to enable effective project financial management, maintaining existing ePMO Finance 'run’ services, whilst supporting the transition to improved ways of working.A key aspect of this role is to build strong relationships with Finance Business Partners, Portfolio Office teams, Programme and Project Managers while providing value-added analysis on projects to empower decision-making.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Project level financial management _
- Design, implement and run processes to capture and report on project cost forecasts and actuals, ensuring reporting SLAs are met and identifying trends
- Design, implement and run processes to manage project change requests
- Design, implement and run processes to capture and report on project resource costs through the use of a time recording system
- Design, implement and run Project financial health deep dives to identify areas of improvement in project financial management.
- Portfolio-level financial management_
- Design, implement and run processes to capture and report on portfolio-level view of budgets, actuals and forecast spend ensuring reporting SLAs are met and identifying trends
- Design, implement and run processes to capture project benefit forecasts and manage and update benefit realisation, including monitoring cost/benefit analysis.
- Other_
- Provide finance expertise input into the creation and enhancement of the ePMO service catalogue, recommending additional services or operational efficiencies.
- Coach project managers and the wider ePMO and change team in best practice project financial management
- Provide training and support materials to enhance project financial awareness across the change management community
- Liaise with customers (ABS, AUL, AISE) to identify financial management weaknesses and propose solutions (process, tooling, training) to address these
- Responsible for the identification of portfolio and project financial risks and the design and implementation of controls to address these

**Requirements/Qualifications**
- Must have experience of working in a project management / PMO environment
- Qualified accountant (CA, CPA, ACCA)
- A solution-orientated self-starter who can take direction and work with a team (of finance and change peers) to deliver results.
- Must be regarded as proactive and assertive in driving control improvement for their area
- Ability to streamline processes in an efficient manner within the team
- Solid experience in accounting/Finance function.
- Desirable previous experience in financial services, particularly Shared Services environment or multi-national company.
