**Your responsibilities will include**:
- Administration and reconciliation of the purchase ledgers using Xero
- Allocation of invoices and allocation of bank payments
- Digitise Invoices and link within Xero, use of Hub Doc
- Preparing supplier payment schedules
- Supplier queries and resolution of disputes
- Provision of statements and reconciliations
- Maintaining accurate and detailed supplier records and creating new supplier accounts
- Completing daily and monthly bank reconciliations
- Provide summaries, reconciliations and analyses of expenditure as required
- Preparing and entering journals into the system
- Taking care of administrative tasks, such as correspondence, filing and printing
- Building a good rapport with suppliers and providing the finance team with relevant information
- Supporting the preparation of management accounts and month-end duties
The role of purchase ledger and bank reconciliation and accounts senior is part of the finance team and reports to the Financial Controller and the Chief Financial Officer.
Applicants should have at least 4 years’ experience in a commercial environment together with:
- Purchase ledger and Bank reconciliation experience at a senior level
- Comprehensive knowledge of Xero and Hub Doc
- Excellent Excel experience
- Strong project management experience
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Ability to prioritise work to meet deadlines and exercise initiative
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, while working in a fast-paced environment
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: From £26,000.00 per year
