**Purchase Ledge Administrator (Part-Time) - Bournemouth BH1**
**£13.00 per hour - 20 hours per week**
As a key member of the Finance Team supporting all purchase ledger activities, posting of purchase invoices and credit notes and ensuring the integrity of the WAP purchase order control system.
- **Job Duties**_
- Prepare returns and information schedules as required by your Line Manager.
- Posting of purchase ledger invoices and credit notes and ensuring that systems for paying creditors and collecting income are operating on an efficient and effective basis.
- Monthly supplier statement reconciliations.
- Resolve invoice queries under Sicon Document Automation.
- Assist with the OCR Automation Project
- Preparation of payment runs for approval by the Group Financial Controller.
- Ensure that all transactions are posted to Sage 200 accurately and promptly
- Maintain confidentiality at all times and to ensure compliance with the Data Protection Act.
- Supporting home administration teams and enabling them to improve their working methods
- To undertake any further duties as requested by your line Manager which is commensurate with the level of your role
- **Skills, Knowledge and Experience**_
- AAT level 3
- Highly motivated and able to work on your own as well as with and for others
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude with a strong desire to learn and develop
- Previous experience of purchase ledger and purchase to pay ordering systems and using Sage Line 200 would be beneficial
- Intermediate Excel skills to present financial reports and accounts
- IT literate and good ability to pick up new financial and other business systems
- Good understanding of the Care Home/Care Industry is a distinct advantage
- Good communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships
- Good analytical skills and be detailed orientated
- Based at our central Bournemouth Head Office, with occasional travel between sites in the East Sussex/Kent/Surrey and other areas, therefore must have valid UK driving licence/willing to travel
- Envisaged the role will be hybrid - 3 days based in the office and 2 days working from home.
