Senior Procurement Manager

Unique but one-off and amazing opportunities to join the UKs largest transport body, for THREE experienced procurement professionals to join the business at a truly exciting period.
Although they are looking for each person coming on board to focus on a particular category, the best suited experience would be a generalist who has managed some significant projects in each area, but is capable on working across the board. The ideal backgroundwould be someone who has private sector experience, but had some exposure or worked in the public sector for some part.
**The three roles are**:
Senior Procurement Manager - IT (12 month) - £60,000 to £70,000 + transport discounts, healthcare, pension etc
Senior Procurement Manager - Professional Services (12 month) - £60,000 to £70,000 + transport discounts, healthcare, pension etc
Procurement Manager - Marketing (12 month) - £50,000 to £60,000 + transport discounts, healthcare, pension etc
The business are about to go through a huge change, with a complete new re-branding and set up whilst also merging with a new organisation. Due the nature of the organisation, any OJEU, PCR 2015 OR UCR EU regulations experience is key to be able to hit theground running
**Role, responsibilities and experience required**:
- Although following EU regs principles, needing someone with commercial and agile mindset
- Work within your designated category, but supporting on a multitube of indirects
- Support multiple projects from various stakeholders at one time, adapting to change
- Strategic procurement, managing a range of complex and business critical projects
- Creating cost savings, but also supporting develop the procurement policy within the function
- Manage the addressable budget in your area and continue commercial benefit
- CIPS studying is of preference, not essential
