One of the leading names in causal dining in the UK is looking for an area manager to head up one of its markets in Hampshire. The company has a reputation for pushing boundaries, celebrating individuality and being at the forefront of creating a lifestyle,casual dining experience. Having navigated through the toughest time in the history of the UK hospitality market, they are now firing on all cylinders and are looking for an inspirational leader to take charge of an area that will have a significant impactin the success of the UK operation.
As an area manager overseeing this high-profile market of around 12 restaurants, you will take ownership for the commercial performance of each unit. You’ll understand the levers to pull from a local marketing perspective and enjoy working with each siteto create its own unique business plan, fit for its individual local area. You’ll be a brand ambassador both internally and externally and will continually drive the guest experience through the leadership of your team. As with any role of this nature, youwill also ensure that each of your restaurants is operationally sound with excellent back of house standards.
The successful applicant will come from a background as a field manager in hospitality. They are looking for someone who can work at pace and demonstrate an agility of mind to make decisions quickly. They are looking for an entrepreneurial leader who isable to think outside the box to challenge the status quo. You’ll be an excellent communicator who can work with multiple stakeholders including executive board members.
In return they are offering a salary of up to £75,000 plus a £6,000 car allowance and annual bonus of up to 30% of salary. Given the high-profile nature of the region you will be given the chance to make a name for yourself amongst senior operators in theorganisation which will open up numerous doors for succession in the longer term.
